The museum project is the result of the synergy between the Comune di Noto, Soprintendenza BB.CC.AA. di Siracusa – to which the Regional Archaeological Museum of Syracuse ‘Paolo Orsi’- have worked to allow the reopening of the Museum after 35 years of closure.

An immersive journey, from prehistory to the medieval age.
The new layout of the Civic Archaeological Museum of Noto is divided into ten exhibition halls that tell the story of the Netino area from the Cretaceous to the late Roman and Byzantine ages.
Among the most interesting finds that can be admired are the epigraph of the Gymnasium recovered in Noto Antica and the remains of the sanctuary of Demeter and Kore of ancient Eloro.
