The Shopping Cart

To proceed to purchase, one or more products must be placed in the virtual shopping cart.

The products on sale are available in the online catalogue and can be added to the order by selecting them directly from the icon next to the product. To complete the purchase, you must proceed to the virtual checkout and proceed to payment.

How to change the goods in the shopping cart

You can delete or change the quantities of the items in your shopping cart or add new ones using the instructions provided in the shopping cart.

How to register online

In order to proceed with payment, the website may ask you to register via an online form in which you will be asked to provide the data necessary to proceed with the shipment of the goods. At any time the user can change their data by accessing their profile using the username and password chosen during registration.

It is not possible to proceed with changing the shipping address after confirmation of receipt of the order.

Payment methods

Transactions are managed through:

– Bank transfer

The seller at no time during the transaction will be aware of the data relating to the credit/debit card used for payment.

The Città di Noto – Assessorato alla Cultura, Settore 8° / Servizio 3° – Biblioteca comunale e Musei, Siti e Ufficio UNESCO  reserves the right to refuse an order if the electronic payment system is not able to receive verification from the Customer’s bank.

It is also possible to pay by bank transfer. In this case, receipt of the order shall not be deemed completed until receipt of the transfer to the seller’s bank account.

Shipping methods and costs

Shipping costs of € 5.00 (euro five/00) apply to all shipments.

Delivery times

Delivery times are in working days and are subject to change depending on courier processing times and holidays.

Checking the status of orders

Once the order has been placed, the customer will receive an e-mail confirming receipt and one following the departure of the order, with the order tracking code. Any further information on delivery times can be followed by the customer via the courier’s website. Product guarantees

La Città di Noto – Assessorato alla Cultura, Settore 8° / Servizio 3° – Biblioteca comunale e Musei, Siti e Ufficio UNESCO guarantees the replacement of any item sent in error due to the responsibility of its staff. To activate the return procedure, send an email to biblioteca@comune.noto.sr.it with the order number and a photographic image of the material received that differs from the one ordered.

Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to Article 5 of Legislative Decree 189/99, the right of withdrawal is always guaranteed, without penalty, within 10 working days of receipt of the purchased product.

This wish must be manifested by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to be sent to Città di Noto – Assessorato alla Cultura, Settore 8° / Servizio 3° – Biblioteca comunale e Musei, Siti e Ufficio UNESCO, P.zza Municipio, 1 96017 Noto (SR) – Italy Codice Fiscale e Partita Iva: 00195880893, or by e-mail to be confirmed within the next 48 hours by sending a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt specifying the products purchased and containing the express wish to withdraw from the purchase.

The return may take place, provided that the product is substantially intact, by shipment at the customer’s expense, to be made by means of his choice. If, upon receipt, the products are damaged or tampered with, a refund of the purchase price of the product shall not be guaranteed.

The refund will be made within 30 days of receipt of the goods.

The law excludes the right of withdrawal for the following products:

• sealed audio-video or software, unopened by the customer;

• newspapers or magazines;

• services that have already been performed with the customer’s consent before the expiry of the withdrawal period;

• access tickets for museum services.

The purchaser may therefore not exercise this right in relation to the purchase of admission tickets for the Archaeological Museum of Noto.

General terms and conditions of ticket sales

By placing an online order on the www.museocivicoarcheologiconoto.eu website, the User declares that he/she has read all the information provided to him/her during the purchase process, and that he/she fully accepts the general and payment conditions described below.

How to purchase tickets

The purchase of a ticket is completed by filling in the registration form, making payment and subsequent confirmation of the successful transaction.

Once the transaction is completed with payment, it is no longer possible to change or cancel the purchase.

At no time during the transaction will the seller know the details of the credit/debit card used for payment.

Confirmation of purchase

If the payment is successful, the system will send one or more  notifications to the e-mail address entered during the purchase process. 

Right of withdrawal and refund

Pursuant to Article 59, Paragraph I, letter n) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal provided for in Article 52 of the Consumer Code does not apply, as this is a supply of services relating to leisure time, which Città di Noto – Assessorato alla Cultura, Settore 8° / Servizio 3° – Biblioteca comunale e Musei, Siti e Ufficio UNESCO, P.zza Municipio, 1 96017 Noto (SR) – Italy, Codice Fiscale e Partita Iva: 00195880893, undertakes to provide on a specific date. The purchaser may therefore not exercise this right in relation to the purchase of admission tickets to the Noto Archaeological Museum. 

In the event of renunciation on the part of the customer or of incorrect purchase, there shall be no refund of the price of the admission ticket paid. There is also no refund for tickets that have been purchased but not used, if the date of use is indicated on the admission ticket. 

Reservations, once completed and confirmed, cannot be changed.

INVOICE REQUEST PROCEDURE

When requesting an invoice for online ticket purchases of an amount equal to or greater than € 77.47 (VAT exempt as per Art. 10 of Presidential Decree 633/72), payment of the € 2.00 stamp is required. For the method of payment of this amount, please contact: biblioteca@comune.noto.sr.it
